Tony Vaccaro, who owns Brooklyn Pizza Co. on North Fourth Avenue, is looking to the skies for inspiration for his new bar.
Vaccaro declined to renew the lease on North on Fourth, 536 N. Fourth Ave., the nightclub that was next to Brooklyn Pizza. He plans to open tonight his astronomy-themed bar in that space.
Sky Bar will serve Brooklyn pizza as well as beer, and it will feature a telescope capturing images that will be broadcast in the bar on flat-screen TVs.
